About us
Integrated Democracy and Development for Meaningful Progress, Inc. is a non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to promoting democracy and fostering sustainable development through youth empowerment, civic participation, policy engagement, and institutional collaboration.
Based in Cotabato City, IDDMP, Inc. works at the intersection of democracy, youth participation, development, and peace in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region. The organization supports initiatives that strengthen active citizenship, inclusive governance, leadership development, and meaningful participation among youth, women, Indigenous Peoples, communities, civil society organizations, and public institutions.
Vision
To build and sustain an inclusive democratic environment where citizens, particularly youth, women, and Indigenous Peoples, are actively engaged in decision-making processes in BARMM, with a focus on promoting equitable and sustainable development through advocacy, education, and capacity-building initiatives.
Mission
To foster active citizenship by providing education, resources, and platforms that enable individuals, especially youth, women, and Indigenous Peoples, to engage in democratic processes, build leadership and advocacy capacities, and contribute to equitable and sustainable development.
WHO WE ARE
IDDMP, Inc. brings together program teams, partners, and community actors who believe that democratic participation and sustainable development must work together. Through its activities, the organization creates spaces for dialogue, learning, leadership formation, institutional collaboration, and policy-oriented engagement.
Its work supports communities and sectors that are often underrepresented in decision-making, especially youth, women, Indigenous Peoples, civil society organizations, and local institutions.
Awareness and Advocacy
Promoting civic education, democratic participation, public awareness, and policy advocacy on democracy and sustainable development.
Capacity Building and Empowerment
Providing learning activities, leadership formation, and capacity-building support for communities, civil society, youth, women, and Indigenous Peoples.
